XCD polymer
XCD Polymer is a high molecular weight Xanthum Gum biopolymer, used to viscosify water based drilling and completion fluids.It is primarily a viscosity modifier for Freshwater and Salt Saturated Muds. It is used in drilling and completion fluids to enhance their rheology, ensuring efficient whole cleaning. It provides optimum whole cleaning and suspension qualities.
Potassium chloride (KCL)
KCl is added to cement slurries for application in water-sensitive shales and clays. By preventing clay swelling, it helps improve the cement/formation bond. The functions include help control clay swelling in the presence of water and helps minimize fines migration, help promote a better bond between the cement and the formation and slightly accelerate slurry setting time
Bentonite
Bentonite viscosifier is a colloidal clay mineral composed primarily of smectite. It may also contain accessory minerals, such as quartz, feldspar, and calcite. In fresh water, bentonite swells to approximately 10 times its original volume.
Soltex
Soltex is used to protect shale formations, impart superior lubricity and provide HTHP fluid-loss control with controlled solubility in water, synthetic and oil-based drilling fluids.
